«Garlic (Allium sativum). Main activities: hypotensive and glucose lowering activity [it lowers cholesterol and triglycerides]; fibrinolytic, platelet-aggregation inhibitor; antiseptic and immuno-stimulant.
Therapeutic use: hypertension, hypercholesterolemia.

Remember to use it to treat pinworms and as an hypoglycemic
agent. As regards its action on the thyroid gland: small doses cause thyroid hyperactivity; while high doses cause hypoactivity.
